Over the past 12 years, NAWRAJ has initiated and supported more than 100 projects across the Lebanese territory, with a special focus on peripheral areas and marginalized urban neighborhoods alike. To address all these challenges, NAWRAJ launched multi-sectorial programs including Education, Healthcare, Emergency Aid, Agricultural, Heritage and Eco-Touristic Initiatives, Environmental projects, as well as a wide range of Social and Cultural Activities.

NAWRAJ engages in projects with the following 2 models:

• Establishing privately owned community-based companies or entities for specific projects.
• Consolidating existing local private and community projects, based on:
  Involving locals in the identification and assessment of the region’s needs Ensuring the active participation of women in achieving the advancement of society Creating and sustaining local job opportunities.
